The High Point University women's basketball team has locked in the No. 2 seed at the 2023 Hercules Tires Big South Basketball Championships. The Panthers will play at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 2^nd in the quarterfinal round of the tournament with their opponent to be determined following the final regular season conference games on Saturday (February 25).

The HPU women secured the No. 2 seed with a 12-5 record with one game to play in the regular season, holding a two-game advantage over Campbell in third place. Gardner-Webb has secured the No. 1 seed, unbeaten in Big South regular season play. The Big South standings through Wednesday, February 22^nd games are as follows:
