CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Big South Conference released its Player of the Week awards for the week of September 25 through October 1. High Point went 2-0 on the weekend with back-to-back sweeps on Friday and Saturday to go 6-0 in sets. After a solid weekend on the attack, Dylan Maberry was named the Player of the Week, picking up her second Player of the Week award this season and fifth Big South weekly award since becoming a Panther.

Tagging 36 total kills in six sets, Maberry led the team averaging six kills per set. In total she hit over .300 percent, recording a season-high .471 against Gardner-Webb on Saturday. She added 23 digs, leading the team with 15 against Winthrop and a service ace.
