The High Point University men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the Live in Lou Classic Saturday morning in Louisville, Ky. The men's 8K race is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. while the women's 5k will follow at approximately 10:15 a.m.

MEET INFORMATION
The men will compete against 34 other teams, including Tennessee and Georgia from the SEC as well as Clemson and Louisville from the ACC. The women will compete against 44 teams, led by No. 23 Kentucky and Furman.   
 
Preseason Panthers
The High Point University women's cross country team earned the top spot in the Big South Preseason Coaches' Poll while the men's team was tabbed second overall behind Charleston Southern.

Last Time Out 
Lindsey Ickes finished as the runner-up at the VT Alumni Invite on Friday, September 16^th. Ickes, who is a two-time Big South Runner of the Week this season, finished with her best 6K time by more than 11 seconds and led HPU to a third-place team finish. On the men's side, Spencer Smucker paced the Panthers with a 15^th-place finish in Blacksburg as HPU finished fourth overall.
