Raleigh, N.C. – The High Point women's soccer team lost a tough match to the NC State Wolfpack Thursday night. The final score was 3-1.
The Wolfpack got out to a quick lead with goals in the 11th and 27th minute. Going into the half, they led 2-0.
NC State scored their third goal in the 51st minute of play, but High Point did not let down. Senior Emma Schossler crossed a beautiful corner kick off an NC State player to put the Panthers on the board in the 56th minute.
Up Next: The Panthers start conference play next Wednesday, September 21st, matching up against USC Upstate at home. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.
