CONWAY, S.C. -- The High Point University women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision to Coastal Carolina in preseason soccer action. The match was the only exhibition contest on the Panthers' schedule this fall. 

Bri Davis scored the lone goal for HPU on an assist from Axelle Touzeau in the 79th minute to take the lead, but a late Coastal goal in the 86th minute gave the Chanticleers the edge. 

Up Next: The Panthers travel to Marshall to take on The Herd on Thursday, August 18th. Kick off is set for 7:00 PM.
