Score: High Point 23, Winthrop 2
Records: High Point 3-8, (2-1), Winthrop 1-10, (0-3)

ROCK HILL, S.C.—The High Point University women's lacrosse team won big over Winthrop 23-2 as nine different Panthers scored. Mena Loescher led HPU in goals scored with seven goals she added one assist for a career high eight points. Abby Hormes had a game-high nine points as she had six goals and three assists.

Lyndsey Boswell: "I'm really proud of this group, we had another great team win today. We had great execution on the defensive side of the ball, in transition and settled play. Our offense connected well and found the back of the net in the first quarter setting the tone for the remainder of the game. Our leaders are doing a great job getting back to our pace of play and I'm just really excited about the opportunity to get better with this group every day."
