Head coach
Joey Hammond: "It was another competitive game for most of the game. I felt like we handled some adversity early on in a really good fashion, and we stacked and won some innings and gave ourselves a really good shot. I felt like our bats were better, all in all I feel like our flight was really good. A few too many walks that we talked about, too many free bases to give a talented team, and it's going to be really tough to overcome in a scenario like that. There's a couple plays that in the future we're going to be able to make and things kind of snowballed from there, but I liked our fight. I felt like our guys came here prepared, the moment wasn't too big for them, and it's a really quality team over there, you can't give them free ones and when you do that's what ends up happening. But a lot of really good fight from our pitchers, I felt our at bats were better as well, and it's something to build off for sure."
