Panthers Look to Keep It Rolling In Clinton Against Blue Hose Wednesday Night

The High Point University men's basketball team (10-13, 4-5) will travel down to Clinton, SC for a midweek matchup against Presbyterian on Wednesday (Feb. 9). Tipoff is set for 7 pm. 

Across The Bench

Presbyterian is 11-14 on the season this year and currently have a 3-7 record in Big South play. The Blue Hose are coming off of a 74-69 loss to Hampton at the Templeton Center.  

Rayshon Harrison has been leading the Blue Hose offense in scoring this season with 430 points, averaging 17.2 points per game. 

Last Time Out

The High Point University men's basketball team came out victorious in an overtime thriller against UNC Asheville 91-83 on Saturday night in the Qubein Center. The Panthers had 3 players with 20+ points as John-Michael Wright led the Panthers in scoring with 27 points. Zack Austin finished the night with 26 points and Jaden House had 22 points on the night.

Zack Austin leads the Big South in rebounding; he averages 8.1 per game. PC's Winston Hill is the second best with an average of 6.5 boards per game. Austin has 186 rebounds on the year, he has 29 more than Hill in second with 157.

Wright is averaging 19.6 points per game which leads the Big South. Wright is currently 5th all-time on the Division-I HPU scoring list with 1361. He is 50 points away from moving into 4th and surpassing Eugene Harris.
