Winston-Salem N.C.—The High Point University track enters championship week for the indoor track and field season on Thursday (Feb. 24) and Friday (Feb. 25) as they compete in the Big South Indoor Championship at JDL Fast Track.
JDL is less than 30 minutes from High Point University. Admission is free for both days. Come out and cheer on your defending Big South Champions!

Panthers to Watch for in Winston-Salem
Sydney Horn and Mackenzie Horn will look to keep their strong seasons going this weekend after finishing in third and sixth in the women's pole vault with marks of 4.36m and 4.07m respectively in Blacksburg last weekend.
Letizia Marsico will be back in action again this weekend in shot put. Nyile Facey will be set to compete in both the 60m dash and the 200m dash. Facey is coming off of a personal best 58.75 in the 400 m last weekend.
Chris Van Niekerk will be competing in the shot put and weight throw. Last weekend, Van Niekerk broke his own school record with a mark of 16.67m.
Deron Dudley and Paul Gore will be in action again after record-setting performances last weekend. Last time out, Dudley recorded a 2nd place finish with a 60 m dash time of 6.72 seconds, while Gore finished in 5th place with a time of 6.84 seconds.
Terris Burton II broke his indoor record in the 40 m dash last weekend with a time of 48.45 and will look to keep that momentum going this weekend.
