Score: High Point 79 , Wofford 88
Records: High Point (1-4), Wofford (2-2)

Head coach Chelsea Banbury: "Unfortunately we weren't able to contain Rachel and Jackie the way that we wanted to; they are two very good players and Carmen shot it really well from three. I was really proud that the girls kept fighting and we shot the ball a lot better tonight. It has definitely been tough having a short bench. Especially at the guard spot, Wofford does a really great job at attacking the basket and we're currently down in those positions".

HPU came out strong in the first quarter with Curran scoring the Panthers first bucket off a drive.

Just a few minutes later, Redshirt Senior Jenson Edwards scored two layups to secure the 1,000th point of her High Point career.

In the 2nd quarter, Scheier and Edwards scored back-to-back three balls to get the Panthers energy up, but Wofford quickly responded with a run that put them up 38-25.

A Curran three cut into Wofford's lead to send the Panthers into half within ten.

Wofford's third quarter lead remained in double digits as they had an answer for every Panther point.

The Qubein Center erupted as a collective offensive effort from Jenson Edwards and Nakyah Terrell put High Point within five with a little over five minutes remaining.

Curran and Terrell both had huge defensive blocks on the other end, but the Bulldogs did not let down.

After a few forced fouls late, Wofford came out on top 88-79.

Up Next: The Panthers fly out to San Juan, Puerto Rico this coming Wednesday, November 23rd to participate in the San Juan Shootout. High Point will take on Stony Brook at 2:30 P.M. on Wednesday and will play Georgetown on Saturday, November 26th at 1:00 P.M.
