CHARLESTON, S.C. – The High Point University women's soccer team tied with Charleston Southern on Saturday afternoon in a 2-2 match. The Panthers move to 2-2-1 in Big South play after picking up the point.

Charleston Southern put two goals on the board in the first 20 minutes, but a CSU own goal brought the Panthers back within 2-1 in the 22
nd minute.
High Point tied the match in the 37
th minute as
Bri Davis scored from
Axelle Touzeau, her third of the season.
Fain Buete, Sam Gerhart, and
Leah Malone also recorded shots on goal for HPU in the first half as the two teams entered into halftime in a 2-2 match.
Buete started off the second half with another shot on goal while
Shaylyn Owen added another in the 68
th minute, but neither team was able to capitalize on second half opportunities.
Morgan Hairston made four saves in the game, holding the Bucs scoreless in the second half.
