The Champions Course at Bryan Park
The Champions Course at Bryan Park was designed by Rees Jones and opened in 1990. It features 97 sand traps, numerous grass bunkers and hollows, and seven holes that border Lake Townsend. The greens are made of Mini Verde Bermudagrass while the fairways are Bermuda. The course was named runner-up for the Best New US Public Course by Golf Digest in 1990 and hosted the 2010 United States Public Links Championship.
Format and Schedule
The Bryan National Collegiate is a three-day event with 18 holes scheduled to be played each day. HPU starts its tournament on Sunday (Sept. 26) on hole 10 at 9:15 a.m. and is paired with Charlotte for the day. Monday's (Sept. 27) tee times will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will be based on team results from week one while Tuesday (Sept. 28) will be a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

Minonna Falkman Lehes took home 17th place.
Close to Home
This week's tournament is one of two in the Triad and one of five in the state of North Carolina this season. High Point is back in Greensboro at the beginning of November for the Grandover Fall Classic at the Grandover Resort.
UP NEXT
