Matchup History with PC

Last Time Out
The High Point University men's soccer fell 2-0 on Monday night (Sep. 20) on Ludwig Field to the #8 University of Maryland. The Panthers saw two shots that nearly put HPU on the board against the Terps.Â
Alex Abril nearly did in the 59th minute, as his shot came in lighting fast and was met by a strong save for the Terps to keep HPU off the board.
David Greene fired an incredible shot on goal that did not score due to a Herculean effort from the Maryland defense as a Terp defender leaped up and cleared Greene's shot out hold HPU scoreless.
Haines on Last Time
"It was our best performance of the season by some distance. Maryland is one of the best teams in the country and playing them away is the ultimate test. The guys put everything into it for 90 minutes and created some massive chances in the second half. Our record after six non-conference games isn't where we all want it to be, but we have played a challenging slate that has challenged us in a big way. We have certainly progressed and the whole group knows that this has prepared us for conference play and hopefully beyond that."
