The High Point University women's soccer team (5-0) will be back in action this weekend as they travel to Radford (4-1-1) on Sunday afternoon. The Panthers look to continue their strong start to the season, most recently coming off of a double-overtime 1-0 victory over Charleston Southern.

For the third week in a row, HPU has been receiving the top 25 votes in the Top Drawer Soccer poll. HPU is also currently ranked No. 30 in the College Soccer News poll. The Panthers are currently top 10 in the nation in seven different categories including scoring offense, goals-against average, shutout percentage, save percentage, points per game, assists per game, and penalty kicks.
Salome Starting off Strong
Salomé Prat is currently leading the Panthers in goals scored this season with five goals in five games. In the freshman's last time out she notched the first multi-goal game of her college career. Prat has been honored as the Big South freshman of the week three times this season.
Brick Wall Defense
The Panthers are heading into Sunday with five clean sheets in six games. The team has only surrendered one goal on 29 shots in the previous six games, with only 16 of those shots being on target. Morgan Hairston has been in goal for the Panthers making 15 saves over the previous six contests. HPU's defense is currently ranked eighth in the nation in shutout percentage.

- Radford is coming off of a 6-0 victory over USC Upstate. Brianna Oliver led the Highlanders with a hat trick to bring their unbeaten streak to five games.
- The Highlanders finished the 2019 season with a 16-6 record. Radford came out of the season as Big South Conference tournament champions. The Highlanders then fell to the University of Virginia in the first round of the NCAA tournament by a score of 3-0.
