The High Point University men's basketball team (8-11) (6-8) hosts first-place Winthrop who travels to the Millis Center for a primetime ESPNU matchup On Thursday (Feb. 18) at 9:00 PM and Friday (Feb. 19) at 7:00 PM. The last time the Panthers hosted Winthrop on ESPNU at 9:00 PM was on February 26th, 2016 where HPU defeated Winthrop in a classic game on John Brown's senior night 87-85.

Comeback Kids

On Thursday (Feb. 11) the Panthers ended the game on a 17-4 run in the last 4:25 of the game as they mounted a 17-point second-half comeback against Charleston Southern.

JMW set his career-high in steals in the last series against Charleston Southern Wright recorded five steals in the 77-73 win against CSU on Feb. 11. Wright recorded 8 saves across both games.

Wright by Your Side

JMW has been one of the most consistent players in the conference all season long but in his last five games, he has produced even more impressive performances. He has scored at least 20 points in four of his last five games. 

A Lot to Randle 

Bryant Randleman scored a career-high 16 points in Thursday's win over CSU (Feb. 11), the sophomore's energy and clutch playmaking late helped High Point secure the win.
