Haines on Last Time

"It was a competitive game and both teams had chances to win it. We obviously wanted more from our first three conference games in terms of results, but we need to stick together and keep working. This is a resilient group of guys, and they know what they are capable of. We look forward to another opportunity Saturday at Longwood to get to where we need to be to have a strong finish in the second half of the season."

Trent Is Defensive Player of the Week

Holden Trent

Recorded four saves in a shutout against Gardner-Webb in the win. GWU only shot five times with four of them on goal with Trent making all four saves. This is High Point's second Big South weekly honor of the season and the first Big South Defensive Player of the Week honor for the Purple & White this season as well.

UP NEXT

The Panthers will take a break from Big South play as they travel to Raleigh to face NC State on Tuesday, October 12th. The kickoff is set for 7 pm.
