Panther Particulars

HPU outshot Wofford in the first half seven to four, two of the Panthers' key chances to score came in the 25th and 26th minutes of the first half Sebastian Chalbaud tested the Wofford keeper with a strong chance that required a diving stop from the Terrier keeper.Moments later, MD Myers nearly capitalized on a corner kick as his header to put the Panthers up front just missed the mark and was saved.

The Panthers put three more shots on goal than Wofford did in the first half. The two sides sat at zeros at the break with both sides even.

Wofford took a 1-0 lead in the second half scoring in the 47th minute to start the second half. HPU continued to hunt for its first goal of the night Caco Fernandez and Ashton Perkins each took shots that were beyond the target in the 58th and 60th minutes.

In the 67th minute, Wofford earned a penalty kick opportunity already leading 1-0. Holden Trent made a big stop saving the Terrier PK attempt to keep it a one-goal game.

In the 70th minute, Wofford added another to go up 2-0.

McRobb made it a one-goal game in the 82nd minute as he headed in a goal off a corner that was sent in by Mason Marcey.
