Fontaine on Last Time
"Really proud of this team for battling the weather conditions and coming home with another three points. Our execution in the final third is getting better and better as we progress through conference play and it's truly amazing to see. To have three goal scorers and multiple people delivering some quality assists is truly special. The confidence of this group continues to keep on rising and that will be extremely important as we still have some tough matches ahead of us in conference play."
Mashinski Makes Big South Honors
Mashinski had her first career brace and an assist in the win against USC Upstate. Mashinski scored her fourth goal in five games as she put her Panthers up 1-0 in the second minute. She was assisted by Skyler Prillaman. The duo of Mashinski and Prillaman would connect again in the 19th minute as the freshman recorded the first brace of her young career. It was the second game in a row where she has provided a goal. The freshman now has four goals on the season. Mashinski's goal swung the momentum back into the favor of the Purple & White renewing the Panther two-goal lead. This marks the first Big South Player of the Week Honor of her career.
