The High Point University women's basketball team (9-11, 7-4 Big South) is back in action at the Millis Center on Tuesday (Feb. 4) to host Hampton University (12-8, 8-3 Big South) at 7 p.m. The game will be the Panthers' 'Pink Game.' Fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game to help raise awareness for breast cancer.

Matchup History
- This is just the fourth meeting all-time between the two schools. High Point is undefeated against Hampton, winning all three so far.
- The Panthers took the first game against HU this season on Jan. 25 81-77 in the closest game of the year for the Purple and White.
- HPU has only played the Lady Pirates at home once, defeating them last season, 82-73.

Panther Notes
- High Point broke six records on Saturday, getting back in the win column with a 94-61 victory over Winthrop
- Senior Camryn Brown set four records in the game, the most prolific being the most points in a single game in program history (44). She also set program records for three-pointers made (10), field goals made in the Division I era of HPU women's basketball (16), and three-pointers attempted (16).
- Brown's 44 points are also a Big South record while her 10 triples are tied for the most in Big South history.
- Brown was named the Big South Player of the Week on Monday (Feb. 3) for her record-breaking performance on Saturday. It's her second of the season and third of her career and the fourth of the season for HPU, joining sophomore Skyler Curran with two Player of the Week nods.
- The Panthers only committed seven turnovers in the game against Winthrop, the lowest in a game this season. HPU has committed the second-fewest turnovers in the Big South this season and leads the conference in assist to turnover ratio at 1.08, the only school in the Big South over 1.0.
- HPU's performance from behind the arc on Saturday moved the Purple and White back into the top-five in the country for three-point makes and attempts. High Point's 207 makes are the fifth-most in Division I while the 665 attempts rank third in the country.

Across the Bench
- Hampton has moved back into second place in the Big South, entering the game with an 8-3 record in conference play and 12-8 mark overall.
- Laren VanArsdale continues to lead the Lady Pirates in scoring, averaging 14.7 points per game. She plays an average of 38.7 minutes each game, the third-highest usage in the country.
- Ashley Bates is the second-highest scorer for HU, averaging 13.4 PPG. The Preseason Player of the Year is one of the best thieves in the country, sitting 10th in all of D1 in steals with 68 and ninth in steals per game, averaging 3.40.
- Nylah Young and Makayla Timmons also score in double digits for Hampton (12.1 and 11.8 PPG, respectively) with Young's number helped by her 25-point performance against the Panthers two weeks ago.
- Young is also Hampton's leading rebounder, grabbing an average of 6.6 rebounds per game, the eighth-best in the Big South.
- Hampton improved its three-point defense from the first time the teams played, now holding opponents to shooting just 26.1% beyond the arc, the 15th-best three-point defense in the country.
