The Panthers are 19-10 in the series history against PC, winning eight out of the last ten. Presbyterian bested HPU in their last meeting earlier this season, 77-62.

The Blue Hose are coming off of an 89-88 loss to Winthrop last Saturday and currently in a three-game losing streak, also suffering losses to Radford and Campbell. Chris Martin had 26 points and shot 8-12 from the floor in last Saturday's defeat.

Big South Conference preseason all-conference team member Cory Hightower leads PC with 13.4 points per game and 5.8 rebounds a game, while Martin chips in with an 11.2 scoring average and leads the squad with 76 assists.

PC is coached by Quinton Ferrell, who is in his first season at Presbyterian. As a player Ferrell helped get PC to a NCAA Division II appearance in 2005 and two 20-win seasons.Â
