"It's heartbreaking in so many ways," HPU head coach
DeUnna Hendrix said. "It's heartbreaking, it's devastating. But at the same time it's hard to play and get on a bus and drive four and a half hours and play us tonight and play tomorrow. I don't know I just think they came in super prepared and that's hard to do. I'm heartbroken for our seniors because that wasn't what we would have probably written. It's not how it looked to us."

Charleston Southern closed the third quarter with a 9-0 run to take a 43-41 lead over HPU lead into the fourth quarter.
