The High Point University men's basketball team (0-6) is back in action in the Millis Center as Greensboro College (3-1) makes the short trip to play the Panthers on Tuesday (Nov. 26) evening.
Matchup History
- The Panthers hold a 7-1 all-time record against the Pride, dating back to 1969 when the teams first met. High Point won that first meeting, 97-53.
- The two teams last met in the 2004-05 season, with High Point winning the contest, 79-42.
Panther Notes
- High Point plays its second consecutive home game after concluding the Gotham Classic with a 74-90 loss to Eastern Washington on Saturday.
- Redshirt sophomore Caden Sanchez led the way for the Panthers against Eastern Washington, scoring 15 points and grabbing 13 rebounds to record his first career double-double.
- Freshman Eric Coleman Jr. also scored in double digits on Saturday, adding 14 points while making seven of nine attempts from the free throw line.
- Fellow freshman John-Michael Wright continues to lead the Panthers in scoring, averaging 10.7 points per game in the Gotham Classic and 11.8 points per game on the season, with sophomore Curtis Holland III right behind him, scoring 11.3 points per game.
- Wright was named Big South Freshman Player of the Week (Nov. 25) for the second time in his young career.
- Wright's 11.8 points per game make him the highest scoring freshman in the Big South Conference and 11th highest scorer overall.
- After getting to the line and making 31 free throws on Saturday, HPU now leads the conference in free throws made while having the second-best shooting percentage from the charity stripe (.741).

- Division III Greensboro College is a member of the USA South Conference and has won three regular season as well as three tournament championships.
- Greensboro has been outscoring opponents by 10.8 points per game, scoring 81.3 points per contest.
- The Pride has already matched their win total from last season, winning three of their first four games this season.
