HIGH POINT, NC- High Point continues the conference portion of their schedule with a pair of Big South games at the Millis Center this weekend. The Panthers will take on Hampton at 7 pm on Friday night and Campbell at 2 pm in a Saturday afternoon match.

MATCHUP HISTORY
• High Point has only faced Hampton once in program history, defeating the Pirates last year, 3-0. This is only the second season that Hampton has been a part of the Big South
• The Panthers are familiar with Campbell, holding a 19-13 all-time record against the Fighting Camels, including four-straight 3-0 victories, dating back to the 2017 season.

• For the second week in a row, Abby Bottomley was named Big South Defensive Player of the Week. She currently leads the conference in digs per set, with 5.46.
• Outside hitter Megan Kratzer also received conference honors this week being named Big South Freshman of the Week. She recorded 20 kills and 13 digs in High Point's win over Radford last week.
• The Panthers overcame a 2-0 deficit against Radford in their last match, coming back to win three straight sets and the match. High Point has now won 7 of their last 8 matches and holds a 1-0 conference record.
• HPU's freshman class continues to play well up front, with the top 5 team-leaders in kills being Annie Sullivan, Kaley Rammelsberg, Megan Kratzer, Sopheea Mink and Maggie Salley.
• High Point setters continue to impress, as Jenna Smith, Mackenzi Thornburg and Maria Miggins all have more than 130 assists this season.
The Pirates
• Hampton comes into High Point with a 5-7 record on the season, off a loss to Campbell in their Big South opener last weekend.
• Hampton leads the conference with 2.35 blocks per set, led by Genevieve Reynolds and Isis Black who have 47 and 46 blocks on the year, respectively.
The Fighting Camels
• Campbell has a 7-7 (1-0 conference) record going into the weekend and will play Radford on Friday night before arriving to High Point on Saturday.
• The Fighting Camels are led by sophomore outside hitter Sarah Colla, who averages 4.2 kills per set and has 18 service aces on the year to go along with 206 kills, which is the second-most in the Big South.

• After the weekend set at the Millis Center, High Point will travel to South Carolina next weekend for another pair of conference matches, at Presbyterian on Friday and at Charleston Southern on Saturday.
