 The High Point University women's soccer team (6-6-1, 5-0-1 Big South) returns home as it looks to continue to protect Vert Stadium when Radford(10-3, 4-1 Big South) travels to High Point for a Saturday night (October 12th) showdown. Saturday's game features two of the Big South's top teams, High Point enters Saturday night in first place in the Big South while Radford is tied for second.Â

- The Highlanders lead 12-14-3 in what has been a highly competitive series between the two conference foes. Their last meeting came in the Big South Tournament where Radford won 2-0 in the Big South Quarterfinal last season.Â
- The last time the Panthers hosted Radford in Vert Stadium, HPU won 2-1 in OT back in 2017.Â
Panther Notes
- High Point comes into Saturday night's game fresh off of a thrilling double-overtime victory over Gardner Webb. Chloe Le Franc scored in the 109th minute. The win extended HPU's win streak to five games straight, which is the longest active winning streak in the Big South.Â
- Junior Juliette Vidal picked up her second assist of the season with her pass that set up Le Franc's game-winning goal against GWU. Vidal is now tied for 2nd in assists on High Point with two.
- HPU has protected its home turf this season going 3-1-1 in the friendly confines of Vert Stadium so far. The Panthers tied CSU in their first Big South game at home but they have won three straight Big South contests at home.
- The Panthers have been scoring at a high clip in conference play, HPU is averaging 2.5 goals a game in Big South play.

- Radford enters the match coming off a 5-2 road victory over USC Upstate on Wednesday (Oct. 9.) The Highlanders are on a two-game win streak with conference wins coming over UNC Asheville and USC Upstate.Â
- The Highlanders are led by Junior Gabi Paupst who has 7 goals on the season. She is followed closely by senior Nelia Perez who has scored 6 goals on the year. Â
- Radford routinely applies tremendous offensive pressure against their opponents, the Highlanders lead the Big South in shots with 230 and in corner kicks with 90.Â
