• High Point comes into Asheville off one of their best performances of the year, a 3-0 win at USC Upstate on Saturday.
• Carsyn Gold was named Big South Offensive Player of the Week after her performances last week. She recorded her second goal of the year (tied for the team-lead) against Upstate, getting the helper from Sam Gerhart.
• Gerhart and Charla Ward both recorded their first goals of the season in the contest at USC Upstate, with the assists coming from Kyle Levesque and Chloe Winn.
• Sophomore Shaylyn Owen also received conference honors, winning Big South Defensive Player of the Week. Owen and the Panther defense have picked up two consecutive shutouts in front of keeper Talia Klimes.

• UNC Asheville is coming off their first conference win of the season, defeating USC Upstate 1-0 in double overtime last week.
• The Bulldogs have a balanced attack on offense, with four players recording goals this season. Skyler Chillson and Chloe Lamenzo have each recorded a goal and an assist.
