HIGH POINT, N.C. - The High Point University women's basketball team will travel to Radford, Va. to continue Big South Conference play against Radford. The Panthers are coming off an 87-61 win at USC Upstate, while the Highlanders defeated UNC Asheville, 60-46, Saturday, Jan. 5, in Radford, Va.
 
History vs. Radford
This will be the 48th meeting all-time between the two programs. HPU currently leads the series 27-20. Radford took a 63-48 win Feb. 27, 2018 in the last meeting.

• The Panthers are 111-88 all-time under head coach DeUnna Hendrix.
 
• Hendrix is 3-3 when her teams are playing at Radford.
 
• The 8-4 start is the best start over 12 games in Hendrix's career. It is HPU's best start since the 2005-06 season when it started 9-3.

• Senior Lindsey Edwards is second in points per game for High Point at 12.5. Edwards also adds 5.2 rebounds per game.
 
• The Perry Hall, Md. native ranks fourth in the Big South in steals per game, fifth in field goal percentage and 10th in points per game. Edwards is 36th in the NCAA in steals per game.
 
• Senior Bria Gibson's 5.5 rebounds per game is second for HPU. Gibson adds 7.1 points per game.
 
• Senior Shea Morgan is third on the team in rebounds per game (5.3), third in assists per game (2.7) and fourth in points per game (9.6).
 
• Junior Camryn Brown is tops on the team and second in the Big South in assists per game at 4.4. She leads the Big South in assist/turnover ratio at 1.7. 
 
• The Copley, Ohio native is third on the team with 11.1 points per game.
 
• The junior guard tied a career-high with five made 3-pointers in the first game of the 2018-19 season, against Norfolk State on Dec. 15 and at USC Upstate on Jan. 5.
 
• High Point averages 74.1 points per game, which leads the Big South.
 
• The Panthers also lead the conference in field goal percentage (.425), assists (16.58) and assist/turnover ratio (0.97).
 
• Freshman Skyler Curran is fifth on the team in points per game at 9.6 in her freshman season.
 
• She ranks first on the team and fifth in the Big South in 3-point percentage at .397. Curran is also fourth in the conference in 3-pointers made per game at 2.3.
 
• The Panthers average 11.7 steals per game, which ranks 27th in the NCAA.
 
• Bockrath ranks 19th in the NCAA in steals per game at 3.2. Edwards ranks 36th in steals per game at 2.8.
 
A LOOK AT THE HIGHLANDERS (7-5)
• Destinee Walker leads the Highlanders with 13.8 points per game. She ranks sixth in the Big South in the category.
 
• Khiana Johnson leads the team in assists per game at 2.7. She also adds 9.9 points per game.
 
• Lydia Rivers is tops on the team in rebounding with 9.1 a game. She is first in conference in the category.
 
• Rivers is third on the team with 9.2 points per game.
 
• The Highlanders are third in the Big South in scoring defense only allowing 58.8 points per game.
 
• Radford shoots 36.6 percent from the field and holds its opponents to 36.3 percent shooting.
 
• Head coach Mike McGuire has compiled an 97-73 overall record in his six seasons at Radford.
 
• McGuire has led the Highlanders to the WNIT three times in his six seasons, including a first round win over Penn State last season.
