HPU Looks For Fifth Straight Win Against Radford

HIGH POINT, N.C.— High Point University women's soccer will look to continue its unbeaten streak to start the Big South season, facing off with Radford this Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Panthers have beaten the Highlanders in the pair's last four meetings, and is currently on a four-match unbeaten streak in 2018. HPU has not lost a match since hosting Marshall on September 7th, and has outscored opponents 6-2 over the course of that streak. The Panthers' most recent matchup ended in a scoreless draw, as High Point held Campbell without a single shot on goal through 110 minutes of play. HPU's shutout was its fourth of the year, as the Panther defense has allowed an average of 0.60 goals against in their five previous contests.

Radford has had some success of their own to start the Big South season, going 2-1-0 over the course of its three matchups. The Highlanders' most recent contest ended in a 2-1 win over visiting Longwood, as the side's lone conference loss of the season came by way of Gardner-Webb four days prior. The Radford offense is one of the more productive in the conference, with its 62 individual points on the year, sitting atop the Big South rankings. The Highlanders have failed to score multiple goals just twice this year, both of which resulted in their only two losses of 2018.
