CLINTON, S.C.—The No. 20/24 High Point University women's lacrosse team scored four goals in the first two minutes on the way to a 19-1 road win over Presbyterian Wednesday afternoon (April 11) for its 10th-consecutive win.

The Panthers (11-2, 4-0 Big South), who led 15-0 at the half, outshot the Blue Hose (2-12, 0-4), 37-6, with all six of PC's shots coming in the second half. High Point led in draw controls, 19-2.

"We are happy with a road win in conference play today," HPU head coach
Lyndsey Boswell said. "We had several players step up and do their part. We look forward to getting back to High Point and celebrate our seniors this weekend at home!"

Brooke Stevens opened the scoring 32 seconds into the game and led HPU with four goals and two assists, while junior
Samantha Herman also tallied four goals. Senior
Erica Perrotta added four points on a goal and three assists, while junior
Allie Little registered a hat trick.Â

With two draw controls against Presbyterian, Herman broke the program record for career draw controls with 135. The previous record was held by Sara Kuhlman (2011-14) with 134.

Meredith Chapman led the Panthers with five draw controls, while redshirt sophomore
Hayley Norris and sophomore
Ashley Britton picked up three ground balls each.
