HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women's basketball team will travel to Clemson, S.C. to play Clemson Wednesday, Dec. 5. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Littlejohn Coliseum.
 
The Panthers are coming off a 82-75 win over UNC Greensboro Saturday (Dec. 1), while the Tigers defeated Belmont 65-62 Sunday, Dec. 2.

• The Panthers are 107-87 all-time under head coach DeUnna Hendrix.
 
• HPU is 21-28 all-time against ACC opponents with the last meeting coming at Virginia Tech last season. The Panthers fell 63-86 to the Hokies on Dec. 16, 2017.
 
• Senior Emma Bockrath leads the Purple & White with 17.0 points per game and 6.9 rebounds per game.
 
• Bockrath was named Big South Women's Basketball Player of the Week after averaging 15.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.7 assists and 4.0 steals over three games last week.
 
•The Dayton, Ohio native ranks second in the Big South in scoring (17.0) and steals per game (3.4), third in assist/turnover ratio (1.3), fourth in assists per game (3.6), sixth in field goal percentage (.443), and ninth in rebounding (6.9). Bockrath is 21^st in the NCAA in steals per game.
 
• Junior Camryn Brown is tops on the team and second in the Big South in assists per game at 4.6. She leads the Big South in assist/turnover ratio at 1.8.  
 
• Brown dished out a season-high nine dime in the win over Mars Hill.
 
• Senior Lindsey Edwards is second in points per game for High Point at 11.4. Edwards also adds 5.4 rebounds per game.
 
• Edwards pulled down a season-high 11 rebounds against Kentucky.
 
• Senior Bria Gibson's 6.2 rebounds per game is second for HPU. Gibson adds 9.6 points per game.
 
• The Panthers rebound by committee with four players averaging 4.4 or more rebounds per game.
 
• High Point averages 72.7 points per game, while holding its opponents to 62.9 points.
 
• Freshman Skyler Curran scored a season-high 21 points in the win against Greensboro. Curran is third on the team in points per game at 9.9 in her freshman season.
 
• HPU shoots 42.0 percent (192-457) from the field, while holding its opponents to 37.8 percent (149-394).
 
• The Panthers average 13.6 steals per game, which ranks 12^th in the NCAA. As a team, High Point grabbed a season-high 20 steals against Greensboro.
 
• Senior Shea Morgan scored a season-high 16 points and grabbed a season-high six rebounds in the win over UNCG.
 
• The Panthers lead the Big South in scoring at 73.7 points per game, field goal percentage at 42.0 percent, assist/turnover ratio at 1.05, assists per game at 16.57 and steals per game at 13.6.
 
• The last time the Purple & White faced an ACC squad they fell 63-86 at Virginia Tech. Morgan led the Panthers with 20 points, while Brown added 15 points and six assists.
 
A LOOK AT THE TIGERS (5-3)
• Kobi Thornton leads Clemson with 16.0 points per game and 8.3 rebounds per game.
 
• Danielle Edwards is tops on the team in assists per game at 4.0. She ranks 10th in the ACC in the category. Edwards adds 14.1 points per game.
 
• Simone Westbrook averages 12.6 points per game for the Tigers.
 
• The Tigers shoot 40.7 percent from the field, while holding their opponents to 37.6 percent.
 
• Tylar Bennett grabs 7.5 rebounds per game, while Chyna Cotton grabs 5.1 boards a game for Clemson.
 
• Thornton and Bennett block 1.3 shots per game each for the Tigers.
 
• Edwards leads the team and the ACC in steals per game at 3.8. She ranks 13^th in the NCAA in the category.
 
• As a team, Clemson is fourth in the ACC in rebounds per game at 44.3.
 
• Head coach Amanda Butler is in her first season as head coach at Clemson. She previously was the head coach at Florida, where she compiled a 190-137 record with the Gators. Prior to her time in Gainesville, Fla., Butler coached at Charlotte for two seasons.
 
DEUNNA HENDRIX vs. UNCG AND ACC OPPONTENTS
HPU head coach DeUnna Hendrix has never faced Clemson. She has compiled an 0-6 all-time record against ACC opponents. Hendrix's last matchup with an ACC team came Dec. 16, 2017 at Virginia Tech, where the Panthers fell 63-86 win.
