HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University volleyball team will conclude Big South regular season play this weekend as they travel to Winthrop and Gardner-Webb. The Panthers (18-8, 13-1) will take on Eagles (14-13, 10-5) at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 9, before traveling to Gardner-Webb (7-21, 1-14) Saturday, Nov. 10 at 4 p.m.
 
On the Panthers
• High Point defeated Radford 3-0 to clinch the No. 1 seed in the Big South Conference Tournament last weekend.
• The Panthers fell to the Eagles 3-0 on Sept. 22 in the Millis Center. HPU defeated the Runnin' Bulldogs 3-0 Sept. 21 in the Millis Center.
• Senior Molly Livingston leads the Panthers with 2.81 kills per set with a .366 hitting percentage. She also leads the team in blocks at 1.00 blocks per set. Livingston is first in the Big South in hitting percentage and third in blocks.
• Defensively, sophomore Abby Bottomley leads the way with 5.38 digs per set. She leads the Big South and ranks 22^nd in the NCAA in the category.
 
On the Eagles
• Wintrop defeated Gardner-Webb 3-1 Tuesday, Nov. 6 in Rock Hill, S.C.
• The Eagles are currently third in the Big South standings.
• Junior Jace Kleffner leads Winthrop in kills per set at 2.60, while junior Makayla Doyle is tops on the team in hitting percentage at .263.
• Junior Siani Yamaguchi leads the Big South in assists per set at 10.36.
• Senior Carlie Skelton leads the Eagles defensively with 4.58 digs per set, which ranks fourth in the Big South.
 
On the Runnin' Bulldogs
• Gardner-Webb lost to Winthrop 1-3 on Tuesday, Nov. 6 in Rock Hill, S.C. 
• Gardner-Webb is last in the Big South with a 1-14 record.
• Freshman Kylee Garrison leads the GWU with 2.47 kills per set, while freshman Hannah Donaldson is tops in hitting percentage at .194.
• Donaldson ranks first in the Big South and leads the Bulldogs with 1.22 blocks per set, while junior Charissa Coleman leads with 3.97 digs per set.

• The Panthers will travel to Asheville, N.C. for the Big South Championship with the semifinals beginning on Nov. 17.
