HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University volleyball team will take a break from Big South Conference as they travel Johnson City, Tenn. to play East Tennessee State (ETSU) at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9.

On the Panthers
• The Panthers improved to 10-8 overall and 6-1 in Big South play with a 3-0 win at Presbyterian Friday, Oct. 5 and a 3-0 win at Charleston Southern Saturday, Oct. 6.
• Senior
Molly Livingston leads the Panthers in kills per set at 2.74 and hitting percentage at .325.
• Sophomore
Abby Bottomley is the defensive leader with 5.31 digs per set. She leads the Big South in category as well.
• As a team, High Point leads the Big South in hitting percentage (.248), opponent hitting percentage (.123), assists per set (13.82) and kills per set (14.18) in conference play.

On the Buccaneers
• ETSU brings an overall record of 16-4 into the match. It is tied for first in the Southern Conference (SoCon) with a 5-1 conference record. The Buccaneers defeated Wofford 3-0 on Friday, Oct. 5 and Furman 3-1 on Saturday, Oct. 6.
• Junior Leah Clayton leads the team and the SoCon with 4.11 kills per set. She ranks 34
th in the NCAA in the category. Senior Braedyn Tutton is tops on the team and second in the SoCon with a .354 hitting percentage.
• Sophomore Marija Popovic leads ETSU and the SoCon defensively averaging 5.33 digs per set. Tutton is first on the team and second in the SoCon with .97 blocks per set.
