HIGH POINT, N.C.— No. 12 High Point University men's soccer celebrates senior day this Saturday against Radford, finishing off its regular season home schedule at 7 p.m. The Panthers say goodbye to seven seniors this weekend, including goalkeeper
Pat Fallon, defenders
Daniel McClintock,
Hunter Allen,
Ryeong Choi,
Rashid Tetteh and
Johnny Fenwick, along with forward
Bana Ganidekam.
If the Panthers secure a win over Radford this Saturday, it will tie a program record for most regular season Big South victories for a single graduating class (21), while a two-match sweep to cap off the season would set a new mark. High Point has been garnering national attention as of late, particularly after collecting a 2-1 win at No. 5/14 Duke the previous week. The Panthers' victory catapulted them to as high as No. 12 in the latest 'Soccer America' poll, and gives them the highest poll ranking of any team in High Point University Division I history.
Radford has picked up play in recent weeks, going 4-1-0 since October 6th, with its lone loss coming against the No. 6 University of Virginia Cavaliers. The Highlanders currently stand behind the Panthers in second-place in the conference, boasting a Big South record of 4-2-0. Radford's only two conference losses have come in a 2-1 decision at Gardner-Webb, and a 2-0 loss to Campbell to open Big South play in September.Â
