High Point Notes:
• The Panthers are coming off a 5-0 loss on Friday night at Ole Miss. HPU allowed two goals in the opening 10 minutes before holding the potent Rebel attack at bay for a majority of the contest. The top-scoring team in the nation bagged three tallies in the final 10 minutes to pull away with the victory.
• Senior goalkeeper Alex Hank played the first half and made two saves. She was relieved by Charlotte Kennedy, who saw her second action of the season, and made two stops.
• The Panthers have been outshot in the first five games of the season, 97-26. HPU has allowed at least 20 shots in each of the last four games, three of which have come against SEC schools.
• HPU has scored just 2 goals in its first 5 games, the lowest total through 5 contests since 2010 (1 goal/6 games). That year, HPU ended up winning the Big South and advancing to the NCAA Tournament.
• High Point used its fourth different starting lineup on Friday. The unit at Ole Miss featured 10 seniors and a sophomore.
• The Purple & White have 15 seniors on the team, which accounts for nearly half of the 32-member roster. The senior class has won 39 games in three-plus years and needs six wins to become the all-time winningest class in HPU Div. I history.

UNCG Notes:
• UNCG is 1-3-1 on the year after drawing with Appalachian State on Friday in Boone. QuiQui Hita provided the tying goal in the 76th minute for the Spartans.
• Like High Point, UNCG has struggled offensively this season, scoring three goals in its first five games, two of which came in its lone victory at Elon.
• UNCG has been shut out in three of its first five matchups, with two coming courtesy of nationally ranked teams (#13 Clemson and #15 Florida State).
• The Spartans were picked fourth in the preseason SoCon poll.

Series Notes:
• The Panthers and Spartans are meeting for the eighth time overall and for the sixth straight year since 2012.
• After dropping the first five matchups in the series, HPU is 1-0-1 the last two seasons, earning a 0-0 draw last year and winning 2-0 at Vert Stadium in 2015.
• Alex Hank has played the full 180 minutes the last two seasons without allowing a goal. She had made a combined 10 saves to preserve the clean sheets.
• HPU is 17-14-5 all-time against current members of the SoCon.
