High Point Notes:
            • High Point enters the weekend with a 3-2-1 overall record following losses on the road at NC State and Kentucky last week.
            • The Panthers fell in Raleigh by a score of 4-2 on Friday then lost at Kentucky, 3-0 on Sunday. Redshirt-senior Kelsey Perrell and redshirt-junior Bailey Beattie both scored for HPU in the loss to NC State.
            • Perrell and Beattie are tied for the team lead in goals with two each. The Panthers have had six players combine to score eight goals through the first six contests of the season.
            • Junior Alex Hank has started every game in goal for the Panthers and has posted a 1.46 goals-against average with a .750 save percentage. Prior to the games at NC State and Kentucky, the defending Big South Defensive Player of the Year had allowed just two goals and posted two shutouts in four matches.
            • High Point cracked the NSCAA Southeast Regional Ranking for the first time in program history on Aug. 30, checking in at No. 10 behind nine ACC programs. The NSCAA Southeast Region consists of schools from the ACC, Big South and Southern Conference.
            • Friday's game at Clemson is the third of four-straight road games against Power 5 opponents for HPU. The Panthers still must play at No. 6 Duke on Sunday.

Clemson Notes:
            • Clemson is 3-2-0 on the season with wins over then-No. 12 Auburn, Georgia and Elon.
            • The Tigers are currently ranked No. 13 in the nation in the latest NSCAA Coaches Poll released on Tuesday.
            • Clemson is coming off a 2-1 loss at then-No. 22 South Carolina on Saturday. The tigers fell behind, 2-0, on a brace by USC's Savannah McCaskill before sophomore Sam Staab put the team on the board with a 79th minute score.
            • Senior Catrina Atanda leads Clemson with six points on three goals this season. She is the only Tiger player with multiple goals this season as six other players have tallied one goal.
            • Freshman Sandy MacIver and senior Kailen Sheridan have split time in goal for Clemson in 2016. MacIver has played 210 minutes and is 2-0-0 with a 0.43 goals-against average and four saves while Sheridan has played 240 minutes and is 1-2-0 with a 1.12 goals-against average and 12 saves.

•The Panthers picked up a 4-3 win at Clemson in the two teams' only previous meeting on Sept. 12, 2010. Katie Taber had a brace in the game while Becca Hemby and Brooke Lisson also scored for HPU.
