KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The High Point University women's soccer team has been recognized as a 2025-26 United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award Winner which was announced by the association on Friday.
This marks the 12th time the Panthers have earned this award for model performance in the classroom by having a combined GPA of 3.59.
"Very, very proud of the girls putting in the hard work into classroom to achieve those high grades and this award," Head Coach
Aaron McGuiness said. "It really shows the effort that they put forward to achieve what we are always striving for, which is success on and off the field. The players have bought into aiming for a GPA above a 3.5 consistently. So extremely proud that they continue to do that over just a years."
A total of 777 soccer teams (326 men, 451 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 175 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
HPU has earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award in 2003, 2004, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2020, 2024, 2025.
