HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University volleyball team is back in action this weekend with three matches in the Wolfpack Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Raleigh, N.C.
 
The Panthers (5-2) won the Tussle in the Triad before falling at VCU on Tuesday night in four sets. This weekend's matches will be the first matches and first event held in the newly renovated Reynolds Coliseum, which has undergone a $35 million renovation.

• Friday, Sept. 9 at 7 p.m. against N.C. State (Live Stats and ESPN3 Stream)
• Saturday, Sept. 10 at 10 a.m. against SMU (Live Stats)
• Saturday, Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. against Delaware (Live Stats)
 
PANTHER NOTES:
• Junior Haley Barnes and sophomore Molly Livingston have each earned all-tournament honors in both of the weekend tournaments HPU has participated in this season.
 
• Barnes, the preseason Big South Player of the Year, leads the team in kills (3.29/set) and aces (10) while placing second in digs (2.86/set).
 
• HPU is averaging more digs (13.79 to 13.29) and kills (12.29 to 11.61) per set than its opponents this year.
 
• Freshman Jenna Smith (5.43/set) and junior Carly Jimenez (5.11/set) are combining for 10.54 assists per set this season.
 
• From her libero spot, junior Amy Pilat is pacing the team with 3.46 digs per set on the year.
 
• High Point has won the first set in six of its seven matches this season.
