HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University volleyball squad takes its four-match winning streak on the road to take on VCU in Richmond, Va. on Tuesday at 7 p.m.

The Panthers (5-1) swept UNCG, Elon and Youngstown State to win the Tussle in the Triad over the weekend and will look to keep it going against the Rams (2-4).

Haley Barnes earned MVP honors in the Tussle in the Triad racking up 3.42 kills and 3.25 digs per set in HPU's three wins.

Jenna Smith have been consistent from their setter spot. Jimenez is averaging 5.25 assists and 1.50 digs per frame while Smith has put up 5.50 assists and 1.67 digs per set.

The Rams visited the Millis Center on Sept. 17, 2013 and came away with a 3-0 victory over the Panthers. In that match, then-freshman
Savannah Angel racked up seven kills on a .500 attack percentage.

NEXT UP
The Purple & White will spend the weekend in Raleigh, N.C. taking part in the Wolfpack Invitational. HPU plays host N.C. State on Friday at 7 p.m. before wrapping up the tournament against SMU (10 a.m.) and Delaware (3 p.m.) on Saturday.
