High Point Notes:
            • High Point suffered its first loss of the season on Thursday, Sept. 1, when the Panthers dropped a 4-2 decision to NC State in Raleigh, N.C. Redshirt-senior Kelsey Perrell and redshirt-junior Bailey Beattie both scored for the Panthers.
            • Perrell and Beattie are the only two players that have scored multiple goals on the season for HPU with two apiece. Beattie leads the Panthers with five points on two goals and one assist.
            • The four goals allowed by High Point against NC State was twice as many as the team had allowed in its previous four games in which HPU allowed one goal twice and posted two shut outs. Junior Alex Hank has started all five games in goal and is 3-1-1 with a 1.20 goals-against average and a .778 save percentage.
            • Six different players have combined to score eight goals for the Panthers through five games this season.
            • High Point cracked the NSCAA Southeast Regional Ranking for the first time in program history on Tuesday, checking in at No. 10 behind nine ACC programs. The NSCAA Southeast Region consists of schools from the ACC, Big South and Southern Conference.
            • Sunday's game is the second of four-straight road games against Power 5 opponents for HPU. The Panthers still must play at both No. 6 Clemson and No. 7 Duke.
 
Kentucky Notes:
            • Kentucky sits at 1-2-1 for the season following a 3-1 win at Louisville on Friday. The Wildcats scored twice in the second half to turn a 1-1 halftime score into a 3-1 victory.
            • UK also has losses against Pepperdine and USF and a draw against Long Beach State this season.
• Tanya Samarzich, Kaitlin Miller and Zoe Swift all scored for UK in Friday's road win. Six different Wildcat players have now scored a goal this season. Marissa Bosco leads the team with five points on a goal and three assists.
            • Evangeline Soucie has played every minute in goal for Kentucky this season and has posted a 2.48 goals-against average and a .619 save percentage.
            • The Wildcats finished the 2015 season with a 9-7-4 record and were picked seventh in the SEC Preseason Poll.
 
Series Notes:
            • Sunday's match between High Point and Kentucky will be the first-ever meeting between the two sides.
            •The Panthers are 0-2-2 in four games against opponents from the SEC with losses to South Carolina and Auburn and draws against Georgia and Vanderbilt.
