GAME NOTES
• Friday's match against Wofford is the first contest under new head coach
Tom Mendoza.
• The Purple & White are the preseason favorites in the Big South Conference for the first time in program history.
• Junior
Haley Barnes is HPU's first Preseason Big South Player of the Year after earning all-conference honors as a sophomore.
• High Point returns five starters, but must replace the 3,000-plus career digs notched by Annemarie and
Wavie Chin.
• Sophomore
Molly Livingston is the defending Big South Freshman of the Year and joined Barnes on the preseason all-conference squad.
