HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University women's basketball team is back on the road on Wednesday to take on Davidson at 7 p.m. in John M. Belk Arena.

The Panthers (1-6) jumped out to a 25-19 lead against visiting Stetson on Saturday in the Millis Center. However, the Hatters erased that deficit and cruised to an 81-47 victory.

Junior Kat Harris led the way for the Purple& White equaling her career high with 19 points on the strength of 4-of-7 shooting from behind the three-point line. Off the bench, freshman Camryn Brown added nine points and two assists in the contest.

Reserve Impact
• Through the first four games, HPU's bench had registered 43 percent of the team's scoring and nearly half the rebounds. However, in the last two games the reserves have posted 21 of the squad's 107 points (19.6 percent).

• Six of the 13 times the Panthers have had a player score in double figures, that player has come off the bench. Edwards and Camryn Brown have combined for five of those performances on the year.

HPU's The Swiss Army Knife
Emma Bockrath has done a little bit of everything for the Panthers this season including starting as a guard and a forward. The sophomore ranks in the top-5 of the squad in almost all statistical categories.
            • Scoring: 8.0 ppg (fourth)
            • Rebounding: 4.4 rpg (second)
            • Assists: 3.0 apg (first)
            • Steals: 8 (third)
            • Blocks: 2 (third)
            • Field Goals: 23 (third)

Limiting Turnovers
The Panthers averaged 20.4 miscues in the first five games, but have taken better care of the ball in the last two games tallying just 14.5 turnovers per contest.

Keys is Climbing
Senior Kaylah Keys is 26 points from tying Shamia Brown for HPU's Division I scoring record. She also is within striking distance of breaking the D-I record for three-pointers and free throws made.

Scouting Davison (0-8)
While the Panthers are in search of their first Division I win of the season, the Wildcats are still looking for their first win overall in 2016-17. The squad's closet game of the year came in a 44-40 setback against Radford on Nov. 19. Davidson is trying to find a winning combination as nine different players have earned a start as head coach Michelle Savage has tried six different starting groups in eight games.

The team's one constant, Mackenzie Latt, has paced the Wildcats in scoring (11.6 ppg) and rebounding (6.8 rpg). In last season's matchup with the Purple & White, she posted 14 points, nine rebounds and four assists to help her team earn the victory.

All-Time Series with the Wildcats
Through 10 all-time meetings, High Point and Davidson have each posted five wins in the series. The last time they met, Kaylah Keys hit seven 3-pointers en route to a career-high 34 points in a double overtime 62-60 setback to the Wildcats on Nov. 24, 2015.

Against the Atlantic 10 Conference
The Panthers are 7-10 all-time against the Atlantic 10 conference. The Purple & White are 0-4 against the A-10 in the last two seasons with a setback to Davidson and VCU each of the past two seasons.

Next Up
HPU takes 10 days off for finals before hosting Spring Hill College in the Millis Center on Dec. 17 at 2 p.m. The Badgers are coached by former HPU stars Karen (Curtis) McConico and Amy (Dodd) Calhoun.
