HIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University volleyball team returns home after a successful road trip to host Charleston Southern and Winthrop in the Millis Center this weekend.
 
The Panthers (16-7, 7-3) dropped a tough five-set match to Campbell on Tuesday before going on the road and besting Presbyterian and Charleston Southern over the weekend.

PINK GAME
Friday night's match against Charleston Southern will be the program's annual Pink Game. The HPU marketing team will be handing out t-shirts to fans while supplies last.
 
WEEKEND NOTES
 
• Junior 
Haley Barnes is 60 kills away from becoming the 10th Panther to reach 1,000 career kills.
 
• Sophomore 
Jordan Hefner has racked up 90 blocks on the year and needs 20 more to tie Katie Vincent and Jamie McDonald for the single-season HPU record.
 
• Senior 
Megan Kennedy posted a career-high 20 digs on Friday at PC, then racked up a career-best 21 kills at CSU on Saturday.
 
• Sophomores 
Molly Livingston (.301) and 
Jordan Hefner (.299) rank fourth and fifth in the conference in attack percentage.
 
• HPU and CSU are in the midst of a battle atop the Big South standings along with Liberty and Campbell where all four teams have three or four conference losses.
 
• The Purple & White are 8-2 at home in conference games over the past two seasons.
 
• HPU has won 21 straight meetings with the Bucs with its last loss in the series coming on Nov. 5, 2005 in the Millis Center.
 
• The Panthers have won five straight – 15-1 in sets during the streak – over the Eagles.
 
• HPU earned a 3-0 sweep of Winthrop on Oct. 1 behind 13 kills from sophomore 
Katie Tylman. The Charlotte, N.C. product hit .667 as the Panthers posted a .425 attack percentage on the day.
 
• The Purple & White earned a huge four-set victory at Charleston Southern on Saturday, Oct. 22. Barnes (20 kills, 12 digs) and Kennedy (21 kills, 13 digs) led the Panthers on the night.
