HIGH POINT, N.C. – High Point University men's track & field rising sophomore James House will compete at the prestigious USATF Junior Championships this week in Eugene, Oregon.
 
House will race in the 100m dash, with first round action beginning Friday (June 26) at 2:20 p.m. ET (11:20 a.m. PT). Should he qualify for the final, that race will commence on Friday at 6:45 p.m. ET (3:45 p.m. PT).
 
House put together an outstanding freshman campaign for the Panthers in 2015. The Cary, N.C., native earned two all-conference honors during the indoor season after putting together top-3 finishes in the 60m dash (6.97) and 200m dash (22.23) at the Big South Indoor Championship.
 
Then, after posting an outdoor PR of 10.53 seconds at April's VertKlasse Meeting, House broke through at the Big South Outdoor Championship, winning the 100m dash title in a blazing time of 10.45 seconds that earned him the berth into NCAA Preliminary action in Jacksonville.
