LIVE STATSLIVE VIDEOHIGH POINT, N.C. – The sixth-seeded High Point University men's soccer team will take on third-seeded Coastal Carolina in the Big South Quarterfinals on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 7 p.m., in Conway, S.C.
The Panthers played the nationally-ranked Chanticleers to a 0-0 draw in HPU's regular-season finale on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at Vert Stadium. High Point finished the regular season with a 7-6-5 overall record and a 3-3-3 mark in conference play. The draw secured at least a .500 finish for the eighth-straight season for HPU.

Avery Ryan leads High Point this season with 17 points on a team-high seven goals and three assists while junior
Chris Ramsell is second on the team with nine points on three goals and three assists. Sophomore and first-team All-Big South selection
Ebe Kudolo paces the team in assists with four on the season.
The High Point defense has been among the best in the Big South this season, allowing just 15 goals in 17 games. Redshirt-senior
Kody Palmer has played every minute in goal for HPU in 2015 and has a 0.77 goals-against average with seven shutouts. He was named second-team All-Big South on Monday.
The nationally ranked Chanticleers finished the season with a 12-2-3 overall record on the season and a 6-1-2 mark in the Big South.
First-team All-Conference selection Tobenna Uzo leads Coastal Carolina with 16 points on five goals and a team-high six assists. He is second in the Big South in assists. Bryce Follensbee is tops on the team with seven goals and second-team All-Big South pick Sergio Camargo also has double-digit points in 2015 with 12 points on four goals and four assists.
Coastal Carolina has the best defense in the Big South and one of the top defenses in the country. The Chanticleers have allowed just 11 goals in 17 games for a 0.62 goals-against average. All-Big South honorable mention selection Fernando Pina is 12-2-3 with a 0.62 goals-against average and eight shutouts on the season.
High Point is just 3-18-4 in 25 all-time games against Coastal Carolina. The Panthers are 7-14-4 overall in the Big South Tournament and 1-5-1 in seven tournament games against Coastal Carolina. The two teams met in the Big South Semifinals last year and CCU advanced with a 4-1 win.
