LIVE STATSLIVE VIDEOHIGH POINT, N.C. – The sixth-seeded High Point University men's soccer team will face second-seeded Radford in the Big South Semifinals at Bryan Park in Greensboro, N.C., on Friday, Nov. 13, at 7 p.m. The match will follow the game between No. 1 Winthrop and No. 4 Campbell.
High Point advanced to the semifinals over third-seeded and 15th-ranked Coastal Carolina on penalty kicks in Conway, S.C., on Tuesday. The Panthers tied the game with just 30 seconds remaining on a header by junior
Chris Ramsell. After a scoreless overtime, four of HPU's five penalty kick takers converted for a 4-2 win. High Point is now 7-6-6 overall on the season.
Ramsell's goal was his fourth of the season, which moves him into second on the team with 11 points on four goals and three assists. Sophomore
Avery Ryan leads the Panthers with 17 points on a team-high seven goals and three assists. Junior

Ebe Kudolo are tied for the team lead in assists with four each.

Kody Palmer made four saves against the Chanticleers to move to 7-6-6 in 2015. The second-team All-Big South selection has played every minute in goal for HPU and has a 0.77 goals-against average and seven shutouts.
Radford finished the 2015 regular season with a 14-2-2 record and earned a share of the Big South Regular Season Championship with 7-1-1 conference mark. The Highlander picked up 2-0 home win over Gardner-Webb in the quarterfinals with goals from Krzyzsztof Nalborski and Big South Freshman of the Year Sivert Daehlie.
Daehlie leads Radford with 26 points and 12 goals in his first Big South season. Holter, Norway native is third in the Big South in goals and points and first in game-winning goals. Jamie Summers and Finn Tiedmann both have six goals and two assists and are tied for second on the team with 14 points. Evan Szkiennik leads RU and the Big South with seven assists.
Keeper Aitor Pouseu Blanco earned first-team All-Big South honors after a year in which he finished with a 14-2-2 record and a 0.67 goals-against average. He is second in the league in goals-against average and third in save percentage.
High Point fell in overtime at Radford by a score of 2-1 during the regular season and is now 6-12-4 all-time against the Highlanders. Kudolo scored for the Panthers while Summers and Daehlie both notched goals for RU. HPU is 1-2-1 against Radford in the Big South Tournament. The two teams last met in the tournament in 2010 when High Point picked up a 1-0 home win in the semifinal round.
