LIVE STATSLIVE VIDEOHIGH POINT, N.C. – The High Point University men's soccer team will head to Boiling Springs, N.C., on Saturday, Oct. 31, to take on Gardner-Webb at 6 p.m. The contest will be the last road match of the 2015 regular season for the Panthers.
High Point will try and bounce back from its 1-0 loss at home to Campbell on Wednesday. The game was scoreless until the 82nd minute when the Camels got a goal off a corner kick. HPU drops to 6-6-4 overall and 2-3-2 in the Big South with the loss.

Kody Palmer has played every minute in goal for the Panthers in 2015 and is 6-6-4 with a 0.81 goals-against average and six shutouts on the season. He is second in the Big South in shutouts and saves and is the HPU Div. I career leader in clean sheets.
Gardner-Webb has struggled in 2015 and enters the weekend with a record of 4-11-0 and a mark of 3-4-0 in conference action. The Runnin' Bulldogs are coming off a 1-0 win over Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C., on Wednesday.
Eight-different GWU players have scored multiple goals on the season, led by Marvin Mendy who has four goals and 10 points in 10 games this season. Ali Al-Gashamy and Sami Jilla are tied for second on the team with three goals and eight points. The Runnin' Bulldog has struggled mightily in 2015, allowing 44 goals in 15 games. William Liles has played the majority of minutes in goal for Gardner-Webb and is 4-5-0 with a 2.55 goals-against average.
High Point is 8-1-3 all-time against Gardner-Webb, including a 1-0 win over the Runnin' Bulldogs at Vert Stadium last season. Defender
Adam Storm scored the lone goal of the contest for HPU. The Panthers' only loss to Gardner-Webb came in Boiling Springs, N.C., in 2011.
