Box Score High Point defeated Campbell, 3-1, in non-conference volleyball action at Carter Gym on Tuesday night (28-30, 30-27, 30-26, 32-30).

Campbell took the first game in a close 28-30 match, but the Panthers pulled out three straight games to capture the win. Kamarsha Ryan led the with a match-high 19 kills.

Freshman Lindsey Pickens had a solid night with a double-double, recording 14 kills and 17 digs in the win. Setter Heather Butt also had a double-double with 41 assists and 11 digs. Jenelle Stouffer and Kim Anderson played solid defense with 17 and 15 digs respectively.

The Panthers (5-13) will back in action on Friday night when they open Big South Conference play at Coastal Carolina in Conway, S.C. The first serve is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
