Misty Brockman scored 13 points and Stephanie Scott and Toni Vick each added 10 points to lead High Point to a 65-36 victory over UNC-Asheville Saturday at the Millis Center. 

The victory gave HPU (12-12 overall, 6-5 Big South) a season sweep of the Bulldogs. Jessica Guarneri led UNCA (1-21, 1-9) with 13 points and 13 rebounds. 

With the score tied 3-3, HPU went on an 11-1 run over the next 5:45 to take a 14-4 lead, and would never look back.  High Point held Asheville to 20 percent shooting from the field in the first half, and claimed a 30-18 half-time lead. 

HPU also opened up the second half with a 20-3 run over the first 9:15 and held UNCA to 22 percent shooting for the game, and just 9 percent shooting (2-for-21) from behind the arc. 

The Panthers will be looking for their fourth conference win in a row when they travel to Winthrop on Wednesday. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
