Duke celebrated its Senior Night with a 6-0 win over instate rival High Point Wednesday evening in Durham.

The Blue Devils scored three goals in the first half and three in the second for the final tally.

Duke (7-8-2) scored just 56 seconds into the game on a Liz Wagner shot from six yards away. The Devils added a Casey McCluskey goal in the 5th minute and another score on a header from Carolyn Riggs in the 23rd minute.

Duke's other goals came in the 68th, 80th, and 82nd minutes.

High Point keeper Katie Smith made nine saves for the Panthers.

HPU (3-9-3) closes the 2002 regular season at home Saturday night against Wofford. Game time is 7:00 pm.
