The 2001 Lady Aggie Volleyball Classic completed action today with Campbell University emerging as tournament champions. The Most Valuable Player honor was given to Winthrop's Jennifer Pritchard while the Aggie's Tuamafa Reilly was named to the All-Tournament. Results from day two and All-Tournament team selections are as follows:

Game 6: Mercer def. Winthrop, 3-1
Jennifer Smith and Vicky Skundric each had 15 kills to lead the Mercer Fighting Camels over Winthrop, 3-1 (30-23, 30-28, 30-23, 30-26). Molly Gabri added to the effort with 51 assists while Katie Plummer tallied 21 digs. For the Eagles Jennifer Pritchard produced the big numbers with 20 kills and 13 digs.

Game 7: N.C. A&T def. High Point, 3-2
N.C. A&T postied its first victory of the tournament, beating High Point 3-2 (30-27, 27-30, 25-30, 30, 15-7). Freshman Amanda Padilla set the pace with 22 kills, 19 digs, five assisted blocks and three service aces. On the Panther side, Tracyann Pryce had a team high 17 kills while adding 13 digs, two service aces and one solo block.

Game: 8 Campbell def. Mercer, 3-0
Abby Jenkins accumulated 14 kills, 14 digs and tree assisted blocks to help Campbell solidify a 3-0 (30-27, 30-25, 30-19) win over Mercer. Stter Amanda Pfeifer put-up a game high 26 assists and Kara Lewis added 12 kills and eight digs to the victory. Mercer was led by Katie Plummer with 11 kills and 11 digs.

Game 9: Winthrop def. High Point, 3-0
Behind Jennifer Pritchard's and Erin Lehman's 10 kills apiece, Winthrop picked up a 3-0 (30-13, 30-17, 30-16) victory over High Point. Setter Christie Davis had 39 assists while Anna Vagstad registered 15 digs. Lindsey Steinhaus had six kills and 11 digs to lead High Point.

Game 10: Campbell def. N.C. A&T, 3-2
Campbell nabbed a 3-2 (30-27, 29-31, 30-26, 28-30, 15-11) victory over N.C. A&T to become the 2001 Lady Aggie Classic Champions. Jennifer Abby finished with 20 kills and 23 digs in the match. Crystal Brim and Kara Lewis both recorded 19 kills. N.C. A&T was led by Amanda Padilla with 29 kills and 23 digs.
