Shannon O'Brien led five Panthers in double-figures with 20 points as High Point held off Furman for a huge road win Thursday night, 84-80.

High Point (4-2) led 41-30 at halftime, but Furman (2-3) opened the second half with a 10-2 run to pull within three points with 17:24 to play.The Panthers then exploded for a 14-3 streak to build a 59-46 lead with 12:27 to go, but the Lady Paladins evened the score at 73-73 with 4:09 left.

With the game tied 80-80 in the final two minutes, Narelle Henry hit a jumper that gave High Point the lead for good. The Panthers were 4-of-4 at the line in crunchtime.
